Why we build this
Fragmentation costs time
The EU grant landscape spans dozens of portals across 30+ countries. Finding the right call, checking eligibility, and tracking deadlines is manual, error-prone work.
AI is the right interface
Grant writers and consultants increasingly work with AI. Rather than building another SaaS dashboard, we supply the structured data layer agents need to reason about grants.
Source-cited, not hallucinated
Every answer carries a provenance envelope — source URL, fetch time, confidence. No fabricated numbers, no outdated claims.
What we do
- Index licence-clean EU and national grant portals daily (Horizon Europe, Digital Europe, EDF, CORDIS, Vinnova, RVO — with further national sources under licensing review)
- Expose 10 source-cited MCP tools: search, eligibility checks, partner discovery, prep timelines, change monitoring
- Serve data via a hosted streamable-HTTP MCP server — connect with Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity or any MCP client
- Keep every response source-cited so grant writers and compliance reviewers can verify claims
Who builds this
GrantCortex is built by one person: István Szabó. The project is in its validation phase — shaped in close collaboration with grant writers and consultants so that it solves a real problem before it scales.
